Join Birdsong Chapter
Birdsong Chapter was hatched in 2012. The chapter was created in response to the purchase by IAS of Amboy Marsh Nature Preserve, 1701 Mormon Road, Amboy. Four years later, IAS purchased Gremel Wildlife Sanctuary at 1881 Lewis Road, Amboy. The sanctuaries total about 730 acres, and daily management is the privilege of the volunteer members of the Local Sanctuary Committee.
We welcome people of all ages to join us in nature study, birdwatching and habitat preservation. Monthly meetings are held at Amboy Marsh Nature Preserve, which include a short business meeting and a nature related program. Our group offers tours, field trips and family activities. Join in on a workday to help preserve habitat and be part of our conservation effort. Come to a meeting or work day, and join us using the link on this page.

Choose to join a local Chapter if you wish for an additional $10. Ours is Birdsong and will provide field trips, programs and networking. Newsletters and email updates from the local chapter will keep you informed about upcoming events. Chapters are listed on the form and you may choose one, several or none at sign up. Please note that the form will allow you to join multiple chapters if you wish.
