May these summer sounds help get you through until your next trip to Amboy Marsh or Gremel Wildlife Preserve.
The recording below is the result of a sound survey entitled "Secretive Wetlands Birds at Amboy Marsh Nature Preserve". The project was to make recordings to monitor for Rails and Whip-poor-wills twice a month from May through September 2021. The recordings were made from dusk to dawn, and unfortunately at first review, none of the target species were documented. The frog species recorded include green frog, bullfrog, Western chorus frog, Grey's tree frog and leopard frog. A wide variety of woodland and wetland habitat birds called during the sessions.
